Helping to rebuild lives is the goal of one Las Vegas valley man, and guess what! He’s well underway into making that goal a reality for many people in need. Jeff Iverson is the CEO and founder of Freedom House, which helps drug addicts and alcoholics rebuild their lives with the help of some special programs. And now Iverson is opening a new facility near Charleston and Rancho.
The facility is called CrossRoads, and it will be used exclusively to help people struggling with substance abuse and mental health issues.
“Our goal here as an organization is to take these people and get them clean and sober, address mental illness, and eventually provide a means for them to achieve self-sufficiency,” Iverson said.
CrossRoads provides an additional component to the facility with an on-site therapy dog which will help in the recovery process providing positive change.
