The FTSS model is now used nationally at various behavioral health programs and Head Start organizations. After creating the model, Chris designed a consultation group for Head Starts in the Denver-Metropolitan region which resulted in significantly improved outcomes for children and families in their communities. During that time, Chris also worked diligently to become a tenured Family Therapist at The Marriage and Family Clinic; voted 3-time (2017, 2018, and 2019) consecutive “Family Favorite” in the Colorado Parent Magazine.

Front Desk Manager

Shay is originally from Sacramento, California and moved to Las Vegas 4 years ago in pursuit of completing school and becoming a Registered Nurse. She has been apart of the Crossroads family since February of 2019 and has thrived over the years, becoming the leader she is today. Shay began her relationship with Crossroads as a Front Desk Coordinator welcoming in all patients, helping them begin and continue their journey to Recovery. New to the area, Shay did not know much about the Las Vegas city; but listening to her patients and coworkers stories and seeing how much help our people needed pushed her into the position to want to help in all the ways she could. Shay worked her way up by working within other departments and learning more about the way Crossroads can help our people. She is now apart of the Leadership team and is in charge of overseeing and coordinating all admissions to Crossroads to both our Inpatient and Outpatient programs. Shay and her Team work hard to ensure everyone has a welcoming and comfortable experience to begin their journey with. Alongside the most genuine and amazing teammates, Shay helps to work diligently towards Crossroads’ goal of helping all people in best ways!

Billie Patinio was born and raised in the beautiful Island of Hawai’i. Where Aloha is a big thing. She is a mother of 4 beautiful children, two surviving, Her daughters Roxanne and Leilani, as her daughter Christy and son Chance watch over us. Going through lots of trials and tribulations she has learned to “Continue to do the next right thing and the next right thing will happen”. Once have had lived a life of suffering to the disease of drugs and alcohol. In 2005 she was saved by something much bigger than that, a higher power that she choose to call “GOD.” Today she celebrates 16yrs without damaging her mind , body, and soul from the additions that once hurt her. She loves being able to help others and show them that there is a way to live a life without drugs or alcohol. She is a survivor of many curve balls that life has thrown her way and via each one has learned that “Life is what you make of it,” “it’s your choice to stay stuck or push and move forward” and today she chooses to live and keep shining with her heart and soul. If it wasn’t for what she went through she would not be who she is today… A WARRIOR!
